Store unused Zepbound KwikPen between 2°C to 8°C until expiry date. You may store your used KwikPen at room temperature up to 30°C for up to 30 days. Keep the KwikPen with you when traveling and avoid packing it in your checked luggage.
How should I store the Zepbound KwikPen during transport and travel?

Unused KwikPens:
Store unused KwikPens in the refrigerator between 2°C to 8°C.
KwikPens may be used until the expiration date printed on the label if the unused KwikPen has been stored in the refrigerator.
Do not freeze your KwikPen. Throw away the KwikPen in a sharps disposal container if it has been frozen.
Used KwikPens:
You may store your used KwikPen at room temperature up to 30°C for up to 30 days.
Keep away from heat and light.
Throw away the KwikPen 30 days after first use in a sharps disposal container even if the KwikPen has medication left in it.
Additional Important Travel Information:
It is recommended to keep the Zepbound KwikPen with you when travelling. (e.g. plane, car, bus, train, etc.).
Do not pack the KwikPen in checked luggage. It is possible for luggage hold areas to have wide changes in temperatures. These temperatures may be too cold or too hot for the Zepbound KwikPen.
Changes in altitude that may be experienced when traveling do not impact the dose accuracy of the Zepbound KwikPen.
You should be able to pass through airline security without problems if you declare your Zepbound KwikPen and supplies. The screening equipment used at airports (X-rays) are not known to affect Zepbound. If you prefer, you can ask to have your Zepbound KwikPen and supplies inspected by hand when you go through security checkpoints.
Refer to the airline you are flying with for specific information on their travel policies, including travelling with medication.
