How can I get Zepbound?

Zepbound requires a valid prescription from a licensed healthcare provider. Ask your doctor to send your prescription to LillyDirect Pharmacy:

Do I need to purchase needles for the KwikPen and Vial?

Yes, you will need to purchase injection supplies for both the KwikPen and Vial. You can purchase supplies through LillyDirect checkout, at a local pharmacy, or online.

For KwikPen, a new pen needle is required for each weekly injection. Injection supplies, including pen needles, can be added to your cart at checkout or purchased separately. KwikPen needles are different from the needles required for the Vial.

For Vial, a new needle and syringe are required for each weekly injection. Injection supplies can be added to your cart at checkout or purchased separately.

How do I manage my Zepbound prescription?

I was on a different medication and want to switch to Zepbound. Which dose should I start on?

The recommended starting dose of Zepbound is 2.5 mg. Your healthcare provider may increase your dose in 2.5 mg increments after at least 4 weeks until the recommended maintenance dose is reached.

If you are switching from another medication, it’s important to talk to your healthcare provider about the right approach for you.

Zepbound contains tirzepatide and should not be used with other tirzepatide-containing products or any GLP-1 receptor agonist medicines. It is not known if Zepbound is safe and effective for use in children.
